About Riccardo
Riccardo Accurso has
been making handmade, one-of-a-kind, custom jewelry since
1970. Engagement rings and wedding bands are a specialty,
but he can to make any type of jewelry object: necklaces,
bracelets, pendants, brooches, cuff links, etc. Riccardo
makes all of the pieces by hand, one at a time, using methods
that go back to the middle ages and beyond. Riccardo works
directly in metal, from scratch.
From his experience of over 30 years in hand-making jewelry,
Riccardo has acquired a wealth of knowledge about stones,
metals, and techniques which he brings this store of knowledge
to the service of the client. Riccardo can work in a wide
variety of styles, using all commonly employed metals--gold
in any karat or color, platinum, palladium, etc.--and has
excellent stone setting skills as demonstrated in the unsual
designs found by
choosing one of the categories below.

Riccardo especially enjoys working out
design possibilities with clients. He believes
that the emotional and aesthetic sensibilities of the client
should be respected and incorporated in the piece, whenever
possible. By participating in the design process, the client
has a sense of more connection and ownership in the outcome,
and thus the piece acquires greater meaning for the owner.
